Flow Chart

A flow chart is a visual representation of what occurs during a process. There are some rules on the correct way to lay out a flow chart but you can keep it pretty simple. Start with an oval with 'Customer Needs a XYZ' where XYZ is whatever product or service you sell. Then continue with several lines and squares that lead to 'Customer Buys XYZ from ABC' where ABC is the name of your company.

You will need to brainstorm a list of steps involved. Ask someone in your group about a recent time they purchased a product on the internet or researched a product on the internet that they bought off-line.

From this exercise you might determine some critical elements for your web site. It needs to include your name, phone number, mailing address. It should include the information the customer must provide to us for providing a quote. The site should be indexed on all the search engines. The site should be advertised on directories related to our product.
